WEEK 7 – In a local or major newspaper, find an editorial with which you disagree and paste a link to the article at the start of your post after your name. Generate at least three points that refute the editorial. You may, for example, identify any logical fallacies in the editorial. Following one of the refutation strategies discussed in Chapter 19, organize your rebuttal, keeping in mind the power of Rogerian argument.
Remember to use complete sentences on the prompt for the week and complete the revision process before you post your entry.  You can email me at arogers@westwood.edu if you need additional guidance.

WEEK 6  -- Review the Boondocks clip on text messaging. Aside from the vulgarity, the author uses satire to present his points about the disadvantages of sending text messages. Does his overall tone distract from or add to his credibility? Does the lack of balance in the argument make you more or less likely to acknowledge the validity of his reasons? What reason would you argue in favor of text messaging?  Your response should be between 50 to 100 words and follow grammar rules.
